I have a 99 ranger and I'd like to change a lot of stuff, starting with the instrument cluster. I found one that i really like but it's from an 04. Would any of you know if that would fit into my 99?

2004 was first year of the Digital instrument cluster, so can't be used on older Rangers.
2003 and earlier were basically analog instruments and got some info from computer

2004, and up, digital dash hooks to Computer and gets all data for gauges and warning lights from there

I think it should fit, but won't work
1998 to 2003 Ranger/Mazda B-series should fit and be fine to use, some rewiring on the rear pins "might" be needed when you use different years
Explorers also had same size clusters in those years

If you like the White Face gauges I think you can buy White gauge face kit and change out your 1999 black faces
