Looks like he cut out the center of the headlight and then inserted a universal projector housing in it's place.

Wonder how good it lights??

If you look at this pic, you can see the back of the housing and the projector housing.

no. Projectors are just another type of headlights.

What the person did is what i *planned* to do. You cut out where the headlight bulb goes into, then you get a salvaged projector housing, and mold it in. Then you can run HIDs (still illegal, of course), but it'll give off less of a glare for oncoming traffic (and people in front of you!). The person did a really weird job..... it sucks. Like what Leo said, E for effort......

When i have the time, and money, i'll be doing this mod. Hopefully, it will turn out better than this fellow.

it's your's?

Well, anyhoo... it's tunneled. Projectors aren't suppose to be. The beam from the projectors are suppose to spread evenly, giving more visibility. (cleaner light, brighter light, and a top cut-off from the reflectors inside a real projector).

Bad design.. 's all. Doesn't make sense, for what the person's doing.

It's not tunnel vision at all. It adding a projector to a headlight, the same as cars come with stock. It's the only way to put correctly applied HID's into a newer ranger, without having a blinding scatter of light and optimizing the output.
