Have a 2000 ranger with 3.0L flex fuel. Had a loud pinging/knocking noise, like a lifter noise? I cut the truck off, and had trouble restarting it. Ran rough once i restarted it. Put it in gear and took off, cleared right up. When i got home, had DTC 305 (miss in cylinder 5). Been having similiar problems off and on for years now. Any suggestions?
