1990 ford ranger 4.0 crank no start / no power to fuel pump
Hello I have 1990 ford ranger 4.0 auto trans
I’m getting a crank no start. it does fire up for a second when a I squirt gas into the intake. i checked the fuel pump connector at the pump it has ground but no 12v I tested fuel pump Relay — pin 37/57 should have 12v (with a probe I hooked up to battery + to pin 37/57 it showed dim light meaning it’s grounding out somewhere ) I checked the inertia switch wires and I get no 12v The fuel pump relay wires on the load side- I tested with a probe light hooked to battery positive+ to pin 22 seems to have control with key on but stays on (it should go bright for few seconds then turn off) same thing goes with pin 37/57 pin 1 is hot at all times pin 19 goes to fuel pump should be 12v but gets grounded too Seems to be a corroded wire or bad connector somewhere,. Have no clue
