1990 ranger XLT 4X4 2.9L unknown connector
what is this connector? It's located on the drivers side fenderwell. Has a blue/black tracer and and solid blue wires. Replaced engine a while ago have not been able to remember if any thing was connected to it. My BRAKE light and REAR ANTILOCK lights are on. But no other problems. Just wondering if something is supposed to be connected. Thank you!!
Nothing came up on Blue wires in 1990
Brake light and ABS both use the Brake Fluid Level sensor that on the Master cylinder, unplug it and check connection for corrosion, also make sure fluid is topped up, lol
Should be purple and black wire for that sensor
Unplug it and then start engine and drive a bit and see if both lights stay off, if so then plug it back in and see if they come back on, if so the sensor is bad
Sensor grounds out when fluid is low, so no ground(unplugged) so no lights
