1998 Fuel line

Fuel line from fuel pump to fuel filter damaged. Ford tells me the line is obsolete (1998-2001) and can't be ordered. Are there any other year that will fit? Local salvage yard didn't have any.

Welcome to the forum

Mazda B-series are the same, by year

Dorman makes repair fittings

Bronco graveyard as well: https://shop.broncograveyard.com/Ran.../products/439/

This is a "recycled" part search engine: http://www.car-part.com/

Give it a shot, use Fuel Line for your area search

You can also buy the nylon fuel line and cut it to length then add the Fittings for your year
1998 should use 5/16 fuel line

Dorman has kits like the 800-061, 5/16 nylon line that comes with 2 splice connectors, cut it to length to repair the broken section, assuming your two ends are OK

Nylon fuel line is made to be heated so it can expand, so ends or splices can be inserted inside it, then as it cools it shrinks to make a tight fitting

You can also heat it to make permanent bends, although there is an art to that, lol, as there is for all pipe bending
