2.3 transmission vs 3.0 transmission

Will a 5 speed manual transmission from a 1995 Mazda b2300 with 2.3L 4 cyl Motor bolt up to a Mid to late 90s ranger with the 3.0L v6 motor in it??? Asking for a friend

No
1988 and up 2WD Rangers started using the M5OD-R1 manual transmission, these had integrated bell housings(not removable), the bell housing is the part that bolts to the back of the engine

Engines have different block/bell housing bolt patterns by model, i.e. 2.3l is a Lima engine, 3.0l is a Vulcan engine

So the 2.3l transmissions bolt pattern won't match, bolt to, the 3.0l engine, and visa versa
