Hello all,

I have 92 Ranger with around 250K (possibly 350K... can't tell with the 5-digit odo!), and the tranny is finally starting to go (getting very whiny).

I've been thinking about getting it rebuilt or a new one. But then I got to thinking that I might want to take the opportunity to upgrade (if possible) to a 6-cylinder. As I understand it, I'd need a different tranny anyway with a 6-cylinder, right?

Also, it doesn't have AC. If I were to do all this, I'd like to go all-out and get AC in the truck as well (again, if possible). From what I understand, I'd need a different radiator to do that.

So I was hoping you folks could tell me if all this would be possible...? I'm not very much of a gearhead yet, so any info you could give me would be appreciated.
