2000 B4000 4x4 Changed coil, now no power to anything

Hi,
First time posting, asking anything here. I just changed the ignition coil, plugs and wires in my 2000 B4000 4x4. Prior to the work I disconnected the neg battery terminal. The wiring kit I used had the wires numbered just like the OEM set. Changed the plugs, replaced the wires, then the coil, connected everything, reconnected the battery and went to start it up. I have nothing. Not a door chime, key buzzer, dome light or headlight.

I've check every fuse. Battery shows 11.9v across the posts. When the battery neg is disconnected and I put a meter on the neg post and read to the 125 amp fuse connector on the side of the engine bay fuse box I get 11.9v, but when I connect the neg cable to the battery and read across to that same 125 amp fuse connector I get 2v.

What could have happened? What else can I check?

11.9v is a bad battery, just FYI, but not your current problem

Battery cable is bad or corroded, check BOTH positive and negative connections, they are the only cables that can knock out all power

Just FYI
New battery is 12.8-13.0volts
3 year old battery is 12.5volts
5/6 year old battery is 12.3volts and time to shop for battery sales

12.2volt or under is a failing battery
