2000 Ranger XLT

V6 3.0 Flex Fuel
4 door - Extended Cab

Hoping to get some input on possible transfer case noise.

I've got a really loud noise coming from the transfer case area when the truck is put into either 4H or 4L. The front drive shaft looked shot at the rear boot, so I replaced the whole thing for $120 along with the front pinion seal which was leaking. However, this didn't fix the issue and the issue has not gone away at all.

It really only makes the loud popping noise when in 4H or 4L and while turning. Straight driving there is no noise.

Also, how do I identify which exact one I have?

Here is a video with sound, its much louder in person:

Again, thanks for any information you all can provide.
