2002 4.0L idle issue
Hey guys,
So I have a 2002 ford ranger and its not liking to run right aparently. When first started it will idle ok then after about five minutes the idle will drop and bounce between 500 and 800 rpms. It also has an issue with wanting to spike in rpms between shifting gears (its a 5speed man.) If I turn on my fan (doesn't even need to be ac) it will jump about 150 tp 200 rpms then die back down. Codes were thrrown leading me to o2 sensors which I replaced but that didn't fix. I also had a new maf sensor at home I put in but it did nothing. Pulled the neg cable off everytime I changed a part and I have been told I need to reprogram my ecu? Anyone think it might be the iac or the tps? Thoughts? Thanks guys

Another question. My ac compressors clutch stays on when nor using ac which causes the battery to die. Disconnected it and the battery didn't die. Any solutions to fgix this or does the compressor need to be swapped
all the clutch does is engage/disengage the compressor...sounds like theres a constant current draw somewhere in the clutch...IIRC you can buy just the clutch but i would invesigate the problem more before buying a new part
