2004 Ford Ranger 4.0 4X4 Engine Ground

Does anyone know where the engine to chassis ground wire is located on the Ford Ranger Titled Above?

I don't think there is one, no reason for it.

Engine to frame can be in a few places

Main ground is to bell housing starter motor bolt usually, the larger battery negative cable
Smaller battery negative cables can go to inner fender/rad support, and to frame, look in front corner of engine bay on battery side
Rad support usually has a ground strap to frame at the bottom

Engine has a ground strap to Cab firewall, main ground for cab electrics, usually on the back of drivers side head
Cab also has a ground strap to frame under it on driver side
Bed also has similar ground strap to frame

You can never have 1 too many grounds between metal parts, lol
The frame and all body parts are painted FIRST, then assembled, and usually there are rubber washers or pads between parts, so doesn't make for good bare metal to bare metal connections
"When in doubt ground it out"

When adding a ground make sure its bare metal, then paint over it after its installed
