Hi all,
so I'm hoping I can get some much-needed help here.
I'm trying to add some under-glow lights or rocker lights to my ranger T6.
the intention is to have it work with the cabin lights ie: power on when the door is open and also the vehicle is unlocked using the keyless entry.
I wired the led's in parallel and ran the positive to battery + (red)
The negative cable (black) was run to the cabin lights panel/switch which has 2 cables.
1 seems to be always negative (brown)and the other is negative sometimes and positive sometimes as far as I can tell (green)
if the under light negative (black) is connected to the cabin light (green) the circuit works as it should
however when the battery-saver option kicks in after about 15 mins... the under lights turn on. (cabin lights remain off)
Has anyone ever done this successfully or does anyone have any suggestions?
