5 Speed Neutral Safety Switch
5 Speed Neutral Safety Switch
Hey Guys, I have a 2011 Ford Ranger XLT 5 speed. Recently the clutch master cylinder came off. While was trying to put it back in place the clutch rod with the neutral safety switch broke. I need to move my truck from one place to another however I wanted to know what color wire is used to bypass the switch. I seen a few pics from older ranger however the color on the wires are different. Anybody tried or is there a thread here that shows the wire schematic to do this. Thanks
Yes, different setup in 2011, 2007 and up
Should be 2 Blue/grey wires you can short together, that will allow key to start engine
You can also pull the starter relay in the engine bay fuse box, and jumper slots 30 and 87 together
Instantly activates starter even with key off, so be careful
Relay pin ID here: http://www.gtsparkplugs.com/images/m...ode-wiring.jpg
OR

Ford used BOTH types of relays, but easy to tell the difference visually
