I've been searching around on different forums trying to get an answer to a question about power steering. So I hope someone out there can help me out. I'm working with my daughter on her '85 Ranger. She wants to put in power steering. So here it goes:

What power steering pumps and gearboxes can cross fit onto the '85 Ranger 2.0L I4 engine? I have located a power steering system on an '88 Ranger that I believe is an '88 Ranger. However, on the '88 the air conditioning condenser sits just behind the power steering reservoir. On the '85 the alternator sits where the air conditioner sits on the '88. Can I use this power steering system from the '88 to bolt onto the '85?
