88 Ranger fuel system problems

88 Ranger fuel system problems
Got a 1988 ranger 2 wheel drive. 2.3 l moter.
I can be driving and it shuts off like its out of gas.let it set for 30 minutes and it will start up
I have replaced relays,by passed inertia switch and replaced both fuel pumps and filters.
I'm lost and need help
