I have a 96 ranger xlt and my whole cluster died. when the headlight switch is on it still lights up but no warning lights. same as when they are off. the bat and air bag light still work and when the headlights are on i can see my 4X4 ligts and O/D light when i cycle them. Any ideas why it does this? i know its not a bad cluster because i took it out and put it in my friends 96 hanger and it works perfect.

 

Check the fuses ; there are fuses that associated with the guages .
