Icon5 96 Ranger shuts off, No one knows why.

Alright so this is basically my last resort, and probably the only people that can actually help. im gonna get descriptive so i hope you guys can work with me and help me out.

I got a 1996 Ranger 4.0 V6 XL 4x4. Its got about 215k miles. It started shutting off while driving about this time last year. It sometimes starts right up and sometimes i got to wait up to an hour. It'll sometimes be running fine but ill turn it off to go into a store or what not, and when i come out it wont start. I spent yesterday actually trying to make it shut off and the damn thing for once didnt. I did everything from braking hard to accelerating fast, and nothing seemed to trigger it. It will, although, almost always not turn on after driving it 40+ min and then letting it sit for a while. I've taken it to 3 different shops!! Including my nearby Ford Dealership, and they haven't found anything. No Check Engine light has ever turned on, and they've changed the fuel pump about 3 times in this past year. They check the Fuel Cutoff Switch when its not turning on and they say everything is the way it should. Ive got over 40 hours of labor into this truck and its sad to see no results. Anyone here got any advice or have had this problem before? Id Appreciate any help
