blinker mod

I attempted to hook up the blinker mod
I wired everything up like the picture shows but when I hook back up the battery and turn on the hazards the fuse pops.

Now when I did this I only had the driver side hooked up I hadnt touched the passenger side

Okay so I take wire cutters and just cut the balck wire in half and only use the part that is going into the light socket? and just tape off the one end going into the wire harness and discard it

Now how could that have happened? Your dome light was flashing after the blinker light mod?? Dude, you must have really, really done something retarded?

The blinker light mod consists of splicing wires in the headlight area......WTF did YOU do?

I did it yesterday afternoon, it took like 15 mins. It wasn't that complicated at all, I guess I read the other set of directions wrong or somethin.

It was over a year ago so I don't know.

The dome light wasn't flashing like it was a turn signal. It was barely on and just like a flicker. I do remember that much
