ABS light

95 4x4 4 wheel abs, new front rotors, all new lines, new front sensors, no codes, truck is obd2, tested with my Innova reader that does obd2\abs\srs, not some cheap scanner, start truck, no light, within 1 mile light comes on, only thing I can think of is rear abs sensor, just put truck on the road last week so I dont know but assume abs light was on with previous owner, Everything looks good as far as the module and wiring.

Never tried this but found this article, explorers and rangers used the same systems

https://www.explorerforum.com/forums...simple.258803/

You need to get the ABS codes, otherwise you will just have to replace parts at random an "hope" you find the problem

With the jumper in place the ABS light should flash the codes or you can use a test light

In Rangers with the Rear ABS system, the test port in passenger side kick panel

Comes on while driving over 10-15 mph. Shut the car off and it is off until I go over 10-15 mph again

When the truck starts up the ABS light is off. Drive over 10-15mph and it comes on. Then turn off the truck, and restart it and it is off. And again drive over 10-15mph and it goes right back on.

You should have started your own thread.

I was responding to the person that started this thread, they have a "95 4x4 4 wheel abs"

Now we have 2 different people with 2 different trucks and 2 different problems in this thread.
