My abs is intermittently working. Earlier today it was working and the abs light was out . I parked the pickup and later had to go to an appointment and the abs light was back on in my dash lighting when I started the pickup back up . Is this a sensor issue ? Any ideas ? willc. 92 Ranger XLT 2.3 2door 2wd

 

Check brake fluid level in Master cylinder, ABS light can mean low fluid
Also check the connector under the master cylinder, it can get corroded.

Check both brake lights, my ABS came on when brake light fuse blew

 

would one of the rear brake lights out with emergency lights on cause this ?

But the ABS light is the "brake trouble light" not just for ABS issues

 

I intend to do a engine stop light test Wednesday . the rear antilock light is what I meant instead of the abs light.
