Wont heat up
My truck doesnt heat up. The temp guage will get just a little above the C and it stops there, even in the summer. Last night I was out running around for 4 hours with very little stops and the interior never warmed up either.
Think I should start with the thermostat or could there be another problem. The previous owner had the radiator replaced in Jan 05.

I just went thru the same thing you can try and purge the lines make sure you have full radiator fluid then start it up hold it 2500rpms for 90 secs.
If that doesnt work its probably a stuck thermostat i had to buy one for my truck it was $128 i couldnt believe it. I put that baby in and now she blows REALLY REALLY hot air and my gauge works also. I see yours is a 96 hopefully they are cheaper.

I have gotten bad thermostats. The whole batch at the store may be bad. Buy one at another store and see if that fixes it.
Be sure the thermostat is the right temp for your engine and the wax motor has to be opposite the radiator hose, that is, pointing to the block.
Are you sure you installed it correctly???
A stoped up radiator would cause the engine to run hot.
