Air Bag Issue turned into a Headlight Issue
Air Bag Issue turned into a Headlight Issue
My son wrecked his 2003 Ranger and we got it all back together and he's been driving it for a couple months now. I had replaced the air bags (pick-n-pull) but the dash light flashed a 19 code. I finally installed a used air bag control module (pick-n-pull) and it started flashing a 29 code, plus the headlights stopped working. I think the 29 means that the module is the wrong year, so I installed the old module and it flashes a 19 code again but the headlights still won't work. I checked all the fuses. I need to get the headlights working again first. Any help would be appreciated.
There is no real cross-over between airbags and headlights, the steering column has the multi-function switch(turn signal stalk) which controls the headlights, high/low beam
If its connector got knock loose.......................
They kind of share fuse 2 in cab fuse box, 10amp, but for DRL, not main headlights
