So in a recent scan In Autozone to my 2003 3.0 truck I was told my airbags had deployed already at least once, which I wasn't aware of when I bought it few years ago. Is there a way to check if the airbags are even there and in case they are, how can I determine if they will work again in case of a collision.

you are probably due for a recall check with dealer and they may have been replaced on a prior recall, my 2005 has both done

 

Yes,i'd call ford to ckeck on your truck.I just had both sides done on my 06 Ranger.
Second time they have replaced my inflaters,in 3 months.
PITA,but it's free.
