Anti theft light flashing won't crank

Anti theft light flashing won't crank

Got in my 2000 Ranger today, turned the key and no crank-- just the anti theft light flashing. Tried the spare key....same thing.

Is there a way to reset or disable this? Since neither key works it seems like the component that reads the key has gone bad??

1-2 antitheft code

Ok. So it is giving me a 1-2 code on the antitheft, which is "bad transceiver"? What do i do now?
