lol i know what you meant. and what i meant is that being the same color doesn't make any difference at all. taking them 1 out of each vehicle already makes them "different"

Different color cap doesn't mean anything. same internal components and set up. all resistors and such have the same values

 

these are current limiting devices, once the motor bottoms out current spikes and these turn off the power.

They will work with anything in power range of a single window.

 

yeah thats why you'd need more than one of them if u want the other door done. 1 for auto up and 1 for auto down

1 crown vic, 1 taurus sedan, 1 taurus wagon. all early 90s. grand marquis and town cars didn't have them.

lol yeah i looked in three of them too unless they're on another part of the car. only checked the door panels like it said. if they're somewhere else in the car i can probably get a few more

 

It makes sense they'd either be in the door panel, or under the dash. But i don't think theres any wiring running under the dash for the windows.
