Autometer Tachometer Wiring Diagram

Autometer Tachometer Wiring Diagram

hey guys,

Do any of you have or know the wiring diagram for a Autometer 5' Tach. or which wire I need to splice into? Its going in my 97 2.3L that does not have a stock tach.

The Autometer instructions are on their site.

Wire the tach RPM signal wire to the tan/yellow of the cluster plug
Wire the tach power to any red/yellow of the cluster plug
Wire the tach illumination to the light blue/red wire at the cluster or radio plug

ok well i dont have a tach in my cluster so are those wire still there

i also looked on there site and did not get anything

The Wiring Manual says that the tan/yellow should be in any cluster plug, tach or tachless. If not, you can pick it up from the firewall harness to the PCM (pin 48).
