Battery Light

Hi, I have a 2010 Ranger 4L. I just replaced the alternator and battery. The battery light is on. The battery shows 13v when off. Roughly 13.38V when under full load and 13.47V without load idling. Any idea what is causing the light to be on? Can anyone tell me where the battery ground attaches to the engine? I followed the wire but can't seem to figure it out. Thanks,

Alternator regulator

The cause of the issue was a bad regulator as part of the alternator.
