blinker mod issue... I think...

allright, this started about two weeks ago when I thought I had blown one of the 3157 bulbs. well for some reason it only lights up when the blinker is being used, but remains dark when the parking lights are one... NOW this is ONLY one of the bulbs, all of the others blink fine... what should i check??? if I can I'm gonna remove the mod and re solder the connections and call it done. man I feel like an **** for messing with a NEW truck...

I would just recheck the connection you made to that side. Did you use scotchloks or did you cut and splice the wires?

I used the actual blue splice things, although I think I found my problem... the bulbs has 2 filaments and I think the filament that runs all the time is out... I've had these bulbs for about 2 years... they are the silverstar signals... I finally got some time today to work on it so lemme see what I can do and I'll be back...

Alright its fixed, all I had to do was replace the bulb, so yeah the blinker mod isn't going anywhere
