I'm adding a power amp to my stereo. 93 Ranger XLT. I have a Question about the Blue White Remote wire for the Power Amp.
Do I splice into the blue white wire having both wires intact. Or do I just clip off the blue white remote wire from the adapter harness and just join it to the power amp. Hope I'm not confusing anybody.

No it's an aftermarket Radio, No premium sound came with my Ranger.

You would need to post brand and model of radio you are using, so we would know what the blue/white wire is for
Pioneer DEH3700mp. The blue/white stripe remote turn on wire has a number of other names such as accessory wire, system remote control wire, etc… ... This wire is typically for power antenna or factory amplifier turn on.
