Cb weather alert

Mine has it and we're about to have a really bad storm so its constantly going off, is there anyway to make it quieter? The truck is in the garage and I can hear it all the way thru 2 doors and a couple walls.

It's a Cobra, it has that weather alert thing as a feature lol. I was just wondering if there was another way besides unplugging it.

it shouldn't come on like that i mean mine has never done that and we ahve had some serious storms before too.... Thats a little wierd that it comes on but from the sound of it it seems you might have to unplug it. I'll look it up right now.

here you go!
If you want to disable Weather Alert, simply turn the weather **** to the "OFF" or '0' position. If your weather **** does not have an off position, switch to a weather channel where there are no broadcasts.

And when i say huge i mean huge to the point where we had to shave the fender well then we decided to completely remove it to fit the damn speaker but it was really worth it i also got a inline amp to boost the loudness lol. So yeah it is really loud! Want it im getting rid of it?
