I'm Having Blinker and Brake Issues

I'm Having Issues with my blinker and brakes. When I turn on my front right blinker three things happen, 1. They don't work 2. Only the inner bulb blinks 3. Only the outer bulb blinks. I've tried unhooking the battery and hooking it back up, Hazards, and replacing the bulbs and they still wont work properly.

I'm Having issues with the E-Brake. The light stays on and we can't tell if its stuck or not because the E-Brake barley did anything to begin with. I was testing it yesterday and when I went to go stop, the rear wheels locked up, I barley hit the brakes when I was coming to a stop.

Need the YEAR of the Ranger

The Red Brake light on dash will come on if E-brake pedal is not up all the way(there is a switch on the pedal at the top), OR..........if brake fluid is low in the Master cylinder, there is a sensor on the side of it, check its connector/wires for corrosion

Locking up rear brakes usually means the shoes are worn out now and maybe why the e-brake never worked well for awhile

If the right blinker in the dash works then flasher is working
Not understanding your 1 2 3
2 "inner bulb works"(dash light?)
3 "outer bulb works"????
So what doesn't work, front or rear turn light?

Do all 4 corners and both dash light flash when 4-ways(hazards) are on, if so that means bulbs are OK and so is the wiring out to each bulb
So problem may be in turn signal switch/stalk, called the multi-function switch

It's a 2000 XLT
There is 3 bulbs, one 194 bulb on the side of the headlight, and two 3157 bulbs under the headlight.
They turn on but wont blink, the Driver side works perfectly fine.
What I mean by inner and outer bulb, there is one bulb on the bottom left (inner) and one on the bottom right (outer).
When I turn on the Hazards the right ones don't blink.

The Brake light is on as well as the ABS, which wasn't on before.

In 2000 the rear turn and brake light use the same bulb, does that bulb come on when brakes are applied, and is it the standard bulb, not an LED bulb

The left and right turn signals use the same flasher unit, so that is OK

A Flasher works by heat, when you turn on left or right turn then all 3 bulbs on that side come on and that draws AMPs thru the flasher, which heats it up, so if a bulb is not connected or burnt out then that sides turn signal won't flash, they just come on
This is the issue when swapping in LED bulbs, they draw less AMPs so flasher doesn't heat up enough to flash, but LED bulb lights up just fine

There is only one turn bulb in the front, the others are Park lights
So there is a total of 3 bulbs on each side for turn signals: front, dash, rear(shared with brake light), only 3 bulbs should come on

Some people add trailer light wiring which can cause issues, their splices get corroded over time, which will cause issues in vehicle lights

Check brake fluid level in master, and parking brake switch, ABS light will come on if red brake light is on while driving, since that red warning light would effect anti-lock braking

This is the exterior light wiring for your 2000 Ranger

The rear blinkers are working just fine.
When I turn on my left blinker the two bulbs (under the headlight) start blinking, while its on the indicator in the instrument cluster blinker normal.
When I turn on the right blinker, most of the time neither of them blink but sometimes the inner (the one closest to grill) one blinks, while its on the indicator in the instrument cluster blinks faster than normal.
I've bought new bulbs and put in them and they still didn't work.
I've bought LED's and then only one started blinking so I kept the LED's in.
I have swapped the headlight with some Spec-D Halogen headlight and wired the halos into the Outer Top (on the side of the headlight) but I also did that with the left one and they still work.

Head lights don't need to flash so bulb type is not an issue

LEDs in place of standard turn bulbs is an issue

I do see two turn bulbs on each side in the front, my mistake, so 4 bulbs on each side, 2 front, 1 dash, 1 rear

And all are now standard bulbs?

The faster flashing means a short or higher than normal amp draw, often seen after connecting trailer wiring so an extra bulb is added to circuit on each side
No flashing is a lower than normal amp draw
Can also mean bad ground
If you have an ohm meter you could test each bulbs ground

Does anything change when Park lights are on, as far as turn signals?

There are LED's in right now but I bought 2 new packs of bulbs and they wouldn't blink.
When the parking lights are on nothing changes.

Then I would try a new flasher that works with LEDs and standard bulbs, they are electronic not thermal(heat) activated
