so yea i kinda drilled thru that one..lol what years and what models woth the same motor will work? i pulled one of a explorer and the truck will not fire and the rpm gauge while cranking jumps around ..

iam talking about the computer thing on the core support right next to the radiator this is on a 93 4.0ohv model

the only spot the ECM was located was in the firewall.....

can you post a picture of what you are talking about?

more than likely you will have to get one from a Ranger with the same specs (just as long as it is a 4.0 OHV it shouldn't matter what year)

i am going to work on my truck today so i will take a pic of the computer looking thing i drilled thru..its small with a nice sized harness it says motor craft real big on it..truck was working before drilling thru it so thats how i know it was that

its an ignition modual.. just get one that has the same part number on it as yours


i have 2 lyeing around here somewhere get me the part number off your origonal one, i might be able to help

yea i am going to try to get by one tomorrow...and the fingernails..well i only have thumbnails and pinky nails that are long...what can i say they make good booger rakes...bahaha
