I have a 1999 Ranger 4x4 2 dr. ext. cab 3.0L auto and I am thinking of purchasing a 2002 Ranger Edge 2wd 4 dr. ext. cab 4.0L standard for a cab swap. I know the cab will physically fit but what other problems and mods. will I have to make?

When did the Cab get a little longer ?
If 2001, then do some measuring for cab mounting.

Ask around about the cab size increase.

 

I don't think you would have to do any mods to it. You might have to swap your wiring harness into it and some of the electric components in the dash, but other than that I think it would be a direct swap. Let us know if you go through with the swap as I've been wanting to do the swap for a long time now.
