i was wondering if anyone could help me with finding out why my dome light stays on all the time. i shut the door and the light stays on. it only started about 1 week ago so i pulled the fuse. i turn my truck n the the door ajar goes off like normally. i dont know whats the proplem. any solutions will help thanks

 

Maybe the switch is on? There is a rolling switch right by your headlight switch, I'd try that first.

 

Dirty/sticking door latch switches. Very common.

But he said the door ajar light goes off when he closes the door. Wouldn't it stay on if it were the door contact pin?

thanks to all the solution to solve my dome light problem. i fixed it. the rolling thing next to my headlight switch was turned all the way on. i know who did that i am going to hurt this guy. he hates me and my truck. he went in when i wasn't looking and turned that switch up. thanks a lot to all
