Dome lights problems... OHC

Dome lights problems... OHC

So i just installed the new OHC in my truck today that malydeen sent me. And correct em if im wrong but the map lights are constant power right? Because i am under that impression. Well anyways i wired them up to constant and they don't work the bulbs are fine and the wiring is solid so im not to sure on whats going on any ideas?

you wire the map lights to the green/orange wire, which is a switched wire. you might have it on your domelight if it has maplights, or it will be behind the headlight switch.

yah i ran mine to the bat and its still doesn't want to turn on...

Does everything else on the ohc work? I would double check the bulb and make sure that the filiments didnt break when you were installing it.

fitments are fine the bulbs are plugged in to.

Did you do a visual check on the bulbs or did you use a multi meter on them?

visual but why wouldn't they be getting power? i tested the wires with a multi meter and it is good to the dome but i haven't tested the lights.

Well if theres power to the sockets but the lights dont work then I would have to say that the bulbs are broken and they need to be replaced.
