Door Ajar Warning?

Mine stays on sometimes, and it keeps the dome light on and drains my battery, anyone had this happen/know a solution? tried reopening and closing doors, turning ignition on/off, checked if the tailgate might be doing it, but nothing worked.

shoot some WD-40 in both door latches and open and close the doors a few times. its crazy but most of the time that fixes it.

I had to do it a couple times on mine - 'cept I took the latch mechanism out and cleaned and lubed it - I didn't know it would work by spraying it inside the door.

Isnt it amazing how easy some things can be? This happened to me when I first bought my truck and I took it to the dealer to just ask and see what could be wrong. The guy walked out with me and sprayed some WD-40 in the jams. 3 years later no issues with it lol.
