Door Dinger again?

the little peice that goes into the door lock. that turns on the dinger and the lights when you open the door.

i can't get it to go back into it. do i have to pull the lock part off to get it back in there?

i can't because its hitting the door. and to small of a space to get enough pressure to push it up and turn it.

any tips from someone?
