door switch problem

my cab light wont stay on when my drivers door is open. as soon as i open the door the light comes on then shuts off. where is the door switch located on these vehicles? i assume some kind of switch is at fault. i havent been able to see one stick out at me.

the dome light switch is in the door latch...try spraying some wd-40 in the latch and open and close the door a few times and see if that fixes the problem

its an sob, i went and oiled it really good and then played with the latch for a while. it will flick on and off as usual. and now i can sometimes get it to stay on a while longer. with the door open i can pull the interior door handel and it will cause enough movement in the contact to shut the light off. im thinking of trying contact cleaner on it but i dont wanna damage anything there.

you could always go to a JY and pull a new latch
