Engine Misfire

I have a 1998 ranger 3.0 v6.
a few days ago the check engine light came on when i was driving.
A noticeable skip appeared in the egnine idle and at low speed but somewhat seems to clear up above 3000 rmp.
I had my friend plug his obd2 scanner in.

i said that there is a misfire in cylinder 6 and that one of the banks was richer.
He said it could be a number of things from a O2 sensor to a fuel injector.
He wanted to do more test on it but we were both pressed for time.

I searched Google a bit with mixed results.
Can anyone help?

mine did that when i have a vacum leak in my 03 3.0L

What was wrong was there was a hole in my pcv hose (i think thats what its called)
Its a piece of rubber hose on the back of the intake manifold and it caused me to run lean on bank one and two. So i replaced my 02 sensors because i thought that was the problem, and it wasn't so i fixed that hose and now i have no misfire.

Got it fixed a while back.
Ended up being a burnt valve.
Runs like new now.
