exhaust redo ideas...

well heres the deal guys i had a nice exhaust it looked great...
then i put a hitch on and had to lower the hanger to clear the hitch brackets...
then i decided to put a BL on. so my exhaust hangs about 4in below my bumper(it drags on everything when wheelin.)

i was gonna leave it but from the tips draggin it had cracked the exhaust tube by the hanger and rattles like crazy now. so i NEED to get it fixed.

id like to keep somewhat the same style but i dont see anyway to it has no room between the hitch and shackle to go up. so im now thinking change it to a side exit and just use the same tips just have everything re welded/bent.

but ive never seen this on a BL truck does it work?is it possible? post up what you guys have done. pics would be great

hers how it was

oh yea dumping it isnt an option i hate the way it sounds and looks cheesy imo.
plus i may be selling the truck soon so it needs to look good but not break my bank in the process

I have the gibson cat back system with dual outs. Very similar to what you got. But they run a pretty small pipe that manages to fit between my hitch and the spring and shackle, and i have lift shackles that put the spring even lower. Also came with adjustable mounts to keep the exhaust up tight even on a body lifted truck.

Might want to look into that. They weren't that much on sale and they are lifetime warranty and wont rust being stainless steel and all.

well due to me being cheap and had enough of the rattling exhaust i took it in today and they welded up the cracks and put some extra bracing on so it doesnt crack again.FOR FREE.
since im selling the truck soon i decided not to worry about the exhaust hanging down because ill probably take it off and put it back to stock along with all the other mods so you can expect to see most of my parts up for sale here in the next couple of months
