I have a beige themed interior and I hate it. I want a black themed interior. I know how to change everything except the carpet. So I was wondering if anyone knew if it was possible to paint the carpet with a special paint, or if anyone sold black carpet for a 2002 ranger.

 

You can't paint the carpet. MAYBE stain it. you are better off ordering black carpet from with ford or JC whitney.

The OEM carpet for the 2002 Ranger FX4 was available in black. In fact, most 2002 FX4's had a very black interior except for the grey patterned center inserts in the bucket seats. Black carpet, black dash, black door panels, black trim, even a black headliner.

Yup. Starting fresh is the best way. I have seen carpet dyes out there, but I have seen brand new carpet anywhere from $68 up depending on the vehicle. Search auto carpet on the web and you'll find plenty. Gotta love the new car smell when you put new carpet in.

Hey speaking of interiors does anyone have the tan armrest for both sides? Mine got ruined....( its the rubber thing you grab to open the door, on a 93-94)

 

check out stockinteriors.com. i changed my interior from stock gray to all black, including reupholstering the headliner and replacing the carpet with black carpet. i used those guys, i think the otd price was $135. awesome product, and great service... i highly recommend them!

 

I was thinking about them barrman, and also ACC. How thick is the flooring they sent you (flimsy, or like the stock)? Your in San Diego eh? Im stationed there :)
