Attempted to install expo dome light last week. I simply took out the 3 screws and removed the stock light. I then went to install the expo dome light, but noticed a problem.

Two of the screw holes line up (the electrical hookup and another hole) but the third one does not. Instead, there is a strange square like shape cut from factory where the third screw hole should be.

The regular dome light works, but the map lights wont. Should there be a third screw hole there?

 

Anybody have a clue?
