Front Brake Question

When I hit my brakes the front left brake seems to grab and try to make the whole truck turn left. What could be causing this? Also my front left wheel is always covered in brake dust(alot more than the right side) What's the deal? The brakes still work fine, they just grab. Next time I have to replace my brake pads I am gonna go with the eramic one so I don't have all this dust. What will I need to do to fix this?

Thanks for the help!
-Mike

sounds like your front left is dragging all the time. like the caliper isnt releasing. either new caliper or might be able to regrease the slider pins to get the pads to slide away fro mthe rotor.

I also forgot to mention that it's kinda bouncy when I am braking. My dad thought that might be from a bent rotor. I guess I'll tke it in one day and have them tell me what they think it is.

the rotor is warped/bent. it's closer to the pads in the left side of the truck compared to the right, and that's also what gives it the "bounce".. mine does the exact same thing, except both sides are warped so it's more straight going down the road

In that case should I just repalce both rotors at once?

if your right one is fine then don't.. take the rotor out and either get it turned, or buy a new one for $30

I am gonna have to, they started squeaking tonight and noises(other tham my exhaust and tires spinning) from my truck irritate me. They still function ok though, so that's good.

I finally got my brake fixed today. The rotors were warped and the pads needed replacing. I ordered the ceramic pads(hoping to cut down on th brake dust) and the rotors were shaved. Everything works fine now. I thought I'd just let ya'll know.

Before any body jumps all over me, my brakes still performed fine before they were fixed and nobody was in any danger.
