Fuel delivery issue unknown reason

Ok so my ranger has sat for 2 years, put a new battery in it and it still had 1/4 tank of old fuel in it. Started and ran fine, it’s had a bad imrc so it idles rough normally. I went to the gas station and filled it to the brim with fresh 100% gas, drove across the street and shut it off and then it would not restart towed it home and found it was not pumping fuel. Installed a new pump and still has the same issue. Checked every fuse inside and under the hood nothing wrong with them, swapped the relays around and still won’t kick the fuel pump then I went to the old fuel pump on the bench and wired it direct, immediately turned over. So, I hot wired the new pump in the tank and it kicks on tried to start the vehicle and it will not idle period without throttle input. But runs irradically through entire rpm range (misses) as soon as I let off the throttle it dies. I installed the new imrc and still have the same issue, I also tried bypassing the inertia switch with the same result is my problem with the ecm? Oh I’ve also already replaced the plugs and fuel filter

Hum... I'd clean all grounds first.
I'm a bit ignorant about ranger fuel pump ground location.. but I'd check it too.

My second guess is a plugged fuel line or fuel rail.
2yrs at 1/4 tank and then filling it might have dislodged some sediment.

It doesn’t pump even with the lines disconnected at the pump... unless you run a hot line straight to the pump so the ground has to be good, I didn’t hook up a neg to it only a hot

Ah ok.. sorry but I'm guessing here.

I'd still find and clean all grounds. (eliminates the assumption and on old cars its always a good thing to do)
Low oil pressure switch
Neutral safety switch
