ya no crap. its like the only way to survive monthly rent nowadays out here in SD is if you room up and split the bill. or have a cushy job. its insane.
anywhoo. i got the coils. i was going to get them anyways regardless. i just wanted to know if it would help or not. i felt like they needed replacing and i hate replacing parts with parts of equal or sub par performance. and also i had a little bit of extra spending money to throw around for once so (Naturally for me) i threw it at my truck lol.

"still a 4 cylinder" is BS because with the proper setup a 4 cylinder can be the perfect assasins weapon.

The power that an engine (any engine) can produce is limited to 2 things:
1 - how much fuel can you get to it.
2 - how robustly is the motor built.

Seriously you sound like a ricer sometimes.

Its a stock truck 4 banger. How much power do you think you are going to get with just boltons? I doubt he wants to tear down the motor and use forged internals and then get a turbo on it. The OP didn't say anything about going into the engine or using forced induction. This thread is about adding aftermarket ignition coils. Think before you type!

Hell I'm still home cuz it's free and I need to save more cash to buy a house. That's why having a truck blows so much you get so much in savings and then figure well it's not so bad to just drop like $3-4k. After ahwile it hurts.

I was quoting your post, which as a statement, is very wrong.

Your car is just a 4 cylinder. One.....Two....Three....Four....

My statement doen't mean anything except that its a FOUR cylinder engine.

YA! What HE said! lol jk. if i was going to do anything like that why would i even bother? honestly? if im on road all the time, id get a friggin car. if im offroad all the time. id just spend that 4 grand and get a lil buggy or something. but those are the only ways i could possibly justify spending that much money. id rather do some basic head work. exhaust and intake like i have. E-Fan, an remove my A/C. if im not happy with the performance gains i get from that. than i shouldn't have bought a 4 banger should i? buying a vehicle is a huge investment. so not getting WHAT YOU WANT. is f-ing stupid. flat out. there is no excuse like. "i didnt have the money at the time", cause i can get a drivable, smogged, AND registered POS for 500. im just looking to goof around with my trucks motor a bit cause i love my truck and i like tinkering on it. not enough stuff breaks on these Lima motors so i gotta do SOMETHING lol. now duratechs.....thats another story. those lil motors produce a lil more power. but if you ask me? its not worth the durability offset.
