Going to get a body lift kit soon....

Got some questions. own a 99 ford ranger xlt 2wd
1.is a 3'' lift bad?
2.will it change the speedometer? not going to get tires yet, check after that
3.shifting and all that, will that be affected?

and im not sure what else to ask, fill me in on some stuff i need to know as well please.

BL won't affect ur speedo until u get bigger tires because ur just lifting the body off the frame 3".. Go with Summits

No, 20 people on this site run a 3" BL and none have had problems that weren't caused by faulty install. No the lift will not change the speedo, the bigger tires you can fit will though. Again the lift will not change the shifting, the bigger tires will though.

Search body lift tips, you'll find tons of info.

They finally raised the price back up, it used to be 109.
