Hail Mary for my 02 Tremor

Need urgent help finding F57z-2211-a Right Rear brake backing plate. Currently my truck is sitting in a collision shop and this part is discontinued everywhere and unfindable. The size is 10in and for the right rear. Truck is 2002 4x2, Tremor XLT auto. Any help is needed and appreciated!

Welcome to the forum

That's a 1995 part number, just FYI, so any 1995 to 2009 10" brake Ranger or Mazda B-series will work for you to get that part from

F57z-2211

F5 = 1995, F1 would be 1991
7 = Ranger or Mazda B-series
Z = department

2211 is brake backing plate on any Ford

A - would probably be right and B - left but never looked into that

Check https://www.car-part.com/

Look for drum/rotor rear
You/they do have to pull the axle to get the backing plate off

I am sure this is an insurance repair so this won't fly, but.............................have a look here: https://www.therangerstation.com/tec...nversion.shtml

Rear disc brakes for your 2002 Tremor, all the parts are available and not that expensive to buy new, and you can sell the left backing plate, lol

10 Inch plates are unavailable everywhere I looked. You may have to go used. Otherwise, convert the rear to the 9 inch drums, would be less than 200 for all the parts and you won't be able to tell the difference IMO
