I see all of these new bright headlights. Any recommendations for my 2005 Ranger XLT. Getting old sucks.

 

If you're thinking LED replacements........ technically they're illegal in the US. If you look at the packaging, it will state "For off-road use only" for a reason.

A preferred option is to replace the entire assembly so the reflector is matched to the LED. Such as Spyder.

 

2001 original fixtures, good results running these several years now.

You have plastic lenses and they can get cloudy over time so wouldn't matter what bulb you put in, it wouldn't be as bright because of the lenses

You can get new headlight assemblies for 2005, no one makes them in glass but clear plastic is better than cloudy plastic, lol

You can restore plastic lens but it takes some elbow grease, not just wiping them off, lol
