hella 500 help

ok im looking into buying quite a few lights for my truck in the near future and i dont really have the budget for KCs here is the link to where im probably going to order from, clicky, but i have a few questions before i start ordering.

What is the difference between the driving lights and fog lights?

What is the difference between the driving lights with parabolic reflectors and the driving lights with free-form reflectors?

I tried checking the hella website and i cant find a difference so any help would be great thanks.

From what I researched the free-form lights just have a better pattern and are more precise.

Free form is the newer technology, you find it in the HellaFF series (basically all new ones). The older regular Hellas use a parabolic reflector.

I have the driving lights, and since I installed them last year, I have no used my high-beams once. I find lows with driving lights is the best combination.

I just make sure I am uber quick to turn them off if I see a car coming in my direction.

Ohh, pop the extra $30 or $40 and get the clear covers too. Then you don't have to change covers when you want to use the lights.
